Porirua Living Without Violence offers various programmes and education designed to assist women, children and men make sense of their experiences. These are provided by trained women and men with an extensive knowledge and understanding of family violence issues.

The agency has approval of the Ministry of Justice, Oranga Tamariki and the Department of Corrections.

Specialist Family Violence Services

Specialist family violence services are provided by skilled kaimahi/staff whose sole or main role is focussed on working with people experiencing family violence.

Non-Violence Services for Men

These services and programmes are suitable for people who are using violence or concerned about their risk of using violence or want to find better ways to maintain healthy relationships.
